Greenfields Skin+

Skin problems are very common in dogs. Research has shown that 20% of vet visits are due to skin and coat problems. The most common skin disorders are itching, dry skin, hot spots, hair loss, flaky skin, dull coat and mange. Possible causes range from parasites such as fleas and mites to allergies or an underlying disease.

Apart from the external and visible problems, it is important to know that the skin is the largest organ and also one of the most important. After all, the skin forms a protective barrier against all possible external influences. The dietary supplement Greenfields Skin+ is aimed at good condition of the skin and coat. It is a mix of two pure and high-quality cold-pressed oils, namely linseed oil and borage oil, of which several studies have shown to be able to bring the skin and coat of a dog back into good balance.

What skin problems could Skin+ help relieve?
Greenfields Skin+ has been developed to support dry skin, hotspots, hair loss, flaky skins, allergies and a dull coat from the inside out.
What is the difference between Omega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9?
Omega-3 is animal-derived, with the exception of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) found in linseed, and is best known for its good anti-inflammatory effects. Omega-6 is plant-based, contains gamma linolenic acid (GLA) and linoleic acid (LA) and is known for its good effects on the skin. Omega-9 (oleic acid) is mainly found in olive oil and lowers cholesterol, making it good for the heart.
What are the benefits of cold-pressed borage and flaxseed oil?
Cold-pressed comes from pressing kernels and seeds by pressure and friction, no heat is used in this process. The more heat that is released during pressing, the more valuable ingredients are lost in the oil. This means that cold-pressed oils retain their taste, colour and nutrients better.
Why did Greenfields choose a combination of plant-based oils and not salmon oil?
A lot of salmon oil is obtained from farmed salmon, sometimes referred to by some as "refined" salmon, which is not exactly a good source of natural oil. The 'alternative' of wild salmon is not really an option for us animal lovers either. For example, wild-caught fish often die a slow, painful death after being caught by suffocation in nets or on board. The choice for a plant-based source is therefore preferable in our view.
How often should Greenfields Skin+ be given?
Greenfields Skin+ can be given on a daily basis. It is best to build up the dosage with half a dose in the first week, three quarters of the usual amount in the second week and the full dosage as indicated on the packaging in the third week.
Is Greenfields Skin+ also suitable for cats?
In theory, Greenfields Skin+ can also be given to cats, but the conversion from ALA to EPA in cats is extremely low. Depending on the problem, it is therefore better to switch to fish oil for EPA or borage oil for GLA.
How long does it take to see a desired result?
This depends on a number of factors, such as the duration and nature of the problem, diet, age and breed. In general, it takes about 2 to 4 weeks for this dietary supplement to show any effect.
What makes Greenfields Skin+ so special?
First of all, the use of pure, unadulterated and cold-pressed oils. There is no better quality, even for humans this is premium quality. In addition, the combination of the oils in the right proportions.
What does ''human grade'' mean in a dog food supplement?
The production of Greenfields supplements meets the highest requirements for the production of supplements for people, the ingredients used are also intended for people. So no polluted or inferior quality, but the highest achievable.
Ingredients
Cold-pressed flaxseed oil

Contains the fatty acids linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid. ALA is partly converted in the body into the omega-3 fatty acid eicosapentaenoic acid. EPA has a favourable effect on several processes in the body, in particular on the cells of the skin. The linoleic acid present is particularly important for a proper moisture balance in the skin.

Top produkt!!!
